Tips for Overcoming palpitations

Tips for Overcoming palpitations
Heart palpitations or tachycardia in medical language is called by a state if the heart rate exceeds 100 beats per minute. Many things can cause palpitations, such as blood circulation problems, high blood pressure or cholesterol, potassium deficiency and arrhythmias.

Symptoms of palpitations include discomfort in the chest, difficulty breathing, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, and the head feels light. In serious conditions need immediate medical treatment, but prior to the doctor or the mild symptoms you can do the following:

Avoid Stimulants

Stimulants can stimulate the heart rate by speeding up metabolism and releases adrenaline. So definitely avoid caffeinated coffee or tea, soft drinks, energy drinks, and medicines that contain caffeine.

Potassium Consumption

Low potassium levels in the blood will cause tachycardia, so if you're not consuming potassium in the diet, try taking multivitamins or supplements containing potassium. Foods containing large amounts of potassium in bananas, potatoes, rice and vegetables.

Meditation

Meditation is the ability to control the mind and body function by concentrating on one or the other in order to reach a calm matters. By learning how to relax then you also learn to lower heart rate.

Do not Worry

Anxiety also makes the body release adrenaline which causes the heart beat faster.

Eat Fibre

If you are experiencing tachycardia caused by high blood pressure or other circulatory system problems then you should start eating foods that contain high fiber. This will erode the fiber layer of fat in blood vessels causing high blood pressure. Drink enough water and also avoid eating too much saturated fat.

Sports

Light sport conducted in stages is great for strengthening muscles of the heart muscle. But remember, do not exercise too much because even not good for the heart and prone to heart attacks.

This is the sixth Heart Attack Symptoms

This is the sixth Heart Attack Symptoms
The data in the United States showed a million Americans have heart attacks each year. Heart attack or in the language of medicine called a myocardial infarction (MI) is the permanent damage that occurs in heart muscle due to interruption of blood supply to the muscles.

Interruption of blood flow to the heart muscle usually caused by a blockage in one or both coronary arteries serving the heart muscles. Because the problem is coronary artery disease it is also known by the name of coronary heart disease.

With the rapid and precise handling, the heart attack patients can resume normal activities is limited. But if late or incorrect handling of the kematianlah happened.

Quick handling can only be done if gejal attack can be known early, here are some common symptoms that occur during heart attacks:

1. Discomfort in the left chest. Feeling like a crushed chest heavy objects.

2. Discomfort radiating to his left arm, neck and jaw.

3. Stomach feels bloated and full. Feeling of choking or pain in the pit of the stomach ulcer similar.

4. Dried cold, nausea, vomiting, dizziness.

5. Very weak or fatigue, anxiety, shortness of breath.

6. Rapid heartbeat and irregular.

Unfortunately some people have a heart attack without any symptoms such as in persons with diabetes. This certainly makes those who suffer from this disease more vigilant.

Avoid a Heart Attack in Car with Monitor Tool

Avoid a Heart Attack in Car with Monitor Tool
The high number of traffic accidents caused by a heart attack while driving, making the car manufacturers to develop a car seat that can monitor heart activity driver.

Ford car manufacturer in the United States is currently developing a car seat that is equipped with a monitor heart activity.

The latest technology is still in early prototype stage is using technology electrocardiograph (ECG) or electrocardiograph (ECG) to track the electrical impulses in the heart of the driver and spot irregularities as signs of a heart attack or some other cardiovascular problems, for example, to remind the driver to seek medical help .

Typically, clinical ECG machine to be attached to the skin via electrodes, but in this application has 6 car seats ECG sensor built-in 'contactless' that can detect cardiac activity through clothing.

Parties Ford said in the last test, heart monitor contactless system demonstrated the ability to give accurate readings for 98 percent of driving time at 95 percent of drivers tested.

"Monitor the heart of this car seat will also be able to detect symptoms of other conditions, such as high blood pressure or electrolyte imbalance," said Dr Achim Lindner, a medical officer at the Ford Research Centre, as reported by medicalnewstoday, Thursday (05/26/2011).

According to Dr Lindner, this technology not only benefits the driver, but also can make the roads safer for all users.

Ford also plans to connect the seat with a heart monitor other safety systems. They have tested the prototype to see how it might work with systems that alert drivers to pull over and seek medical help or even give a warning on direct medical officer.

This new technology is expected to reduce road accidents associated with cardiovascular events. Recent research from the European Union for three years, the project Methods of Roadside Testing and Assessment for Licensing estimates that drivers with heart disease are on average 23 percent more likely to have an accident. This figure increased to 52 percent for drivers with angina (cardiovascular disorders due to abnormalities of coronary arteries).

Innovation ECG car seat is the result of collaboration between engineers from Ford's European Research Centre in Aachen, Germany, and researchers at the Rheinisch-Westfalische Technische Hochschule in Aachen University.
