Paracetamol Pregnancy, Causes Asthma In Babies?
Paracetamol Pregnancy, Causes Asthma In Babies?
Pregnant women who take paracetamol to relieve pain or fever, increased the risk of babies suffering from asthma, according to new research.

However, this research has not yet become a warning or a ban on pregnant women to take paracetamol, because the drug is still a relatively safe drug for pregnant women when compared with other drugs according to Richard Beasley, MD, researcher from the Institute of Medical Research, New Zealand.

What remains unclear from the results of this research is, the relationship between the use of pain relievers with asthma whether a causal relationship or not.

However, the results of this study remind doctors not to give drugs that do not need to pregnant women. Nevertheless, the recommendations of safe drugs during pregnancy has not been changed until today.

Paracetamol is now the main option that is given to pregnant women for pain relief and fever.

Although pregnant women can not accurately predict when she will give birth, midwifery experts advise expectant mothers prepare for early delivery will be done.

Here are some tips that can be used grip in preparing for birth:
  • Pregnant women should know the symptoms of early labor symptoms which is the right to contact a doctor or midwife. The phone number midwife or doctor who will help labor must be recorded in an easily accessible place.
  • Consult your doctor or midwife at any time to the hospital or just a consultation by phone only.
  • Estimate length of time needed to reach hospitals, roads are often jammed and vehicles that will be used to the hospital.
  • Make sure your child's home and another one when you keep to the hospital.

Preparation of this preparation though very trivial but it would be something very important since the time of delivery arrived all would panic and if not prepared will become chaotic.
